I was born in Akron, Ohio, and later moved with my family to Ligonier, Pennsylvania, where I grew up on the property of Oak Lodge, the business my parents helped build and run. Growing up in that environment shaped much of who I am today. I did not just observe the business from the outside. I experienced it from every angle as it grew and evolved over the years.

I began working at Oak Lodge at fourteen years old. I started in the kitchen as a line cook, where I learned discipline, teamwork, and the fast pace of hospitality. Over time, I worked at the front desk checking in guests and answering phones, and later became a server at the café. Each role gave me a different perspective on customer experience and reinforced the importance of communication, consistency, and attention to detail.

During my senior year at Ligonier Valley High School, I completed a marketing internship at Oak Lodge. That experience introduced me to social media management, event promotion, print marketing design, and digital content creation. It was the first time I saw how storytelling and strategy could directly influence a brand’s growth and community presence.

In 2023, I began pursuing my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at The University of Akron, where I will graduate in Fall 2026. After completing my undergraduate degree, I plan to pursue a Master of Business Administration to continue strengthening my understanding of leadership and long-term strategy.

Alongside my academic studies, I am currently involved in marketing efforts both within nonprofit healthcare and at Oak Lodge. My nonprofit work includes supporting fundraising initiatives, donor communication, website development, and community engagement efforts. I have contributed to organizing and refining website content to improve clarity and usability, ensuring messaging aligns with organizational values and goals. At Oak Lodge, I continue supporting marketing initiatives and promotional efforts, building on the foundation I developed during my internship.

At the center of everything I do is a genuine interest in people. I have always loved connecting with others and believe that everyone has a story worth telling. Every person, business, and organization carries a unique narrative, and that narrative shapes meaningful branding. Whether working with a nonprofit, a hospitality business, or a personal brand, I believe effective marketing begins with understanding and honoring that story.

My Fiance

Outside of marketing, I enjoy creative outlets such as baking sourdough, needlepoint, sewing, gardening, and anything that allows me to create something thoughtfully. I am also looking forward to marrying my high school sweetheart in the summer of 2026, a milestone that reflects the same values of commitment and connection that guide both my personal life and professional goals.

Marketing, for me, is not only about strategy. It is about building trust, communicating clearly, and creating experiences that bring people together.
